If abuse is detected, FairPlay will void bonuses and bets, forfeit winnings, and potentially suspend your account.

Placing Bets

When you place a bet on FairPlay, you are entering a binding contract. Your bet is placed at the odds displayed when you confirm. Once confirmed, bets cannot be cancelled. Bets can only be reduced by backing an opposing outcome at similar odds.

Bet Acceptance

FairPlay reserves the right to accept or reject any bet in its absolute discretion. We may reject bets if the amount exceeds your account balance, the bet violates our terms, the market is suspended or closed, or suspicious activity is detected. If a bet is rejected, your stake is immediately returned.

Incorrect Odds

If FairPlay offers incorrect odds due to system error, we reserve the right to void affected bets. You will be notified if your bet is voided, and your stake will be returned. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee all odds are always correct.

Sports Betting Specific Rules

Market Settlement and Results

All sports markets are settled according to the official result announced by the relevant governing body (e.g., ICC for cricket, FIFA for football). Subsequent appeals, disqualifications, or result amendments made more than 24 hours after initial settlement are generally disregarded.

In-Play Betting

Live betting rules vary by sport. For most sports, once an event starts (scheduled “off” time passes), no further pre-play bets are accepted. In-play bets continue until FairPlay suspends the market. FairPlay uses reasonable efforts to suspend markets at the correct time but does not guarantee exact timing. You are responsible for managing your in-play bets.

Important: Live broadcasts described as “live” may actually be delayed. The delay varies depending on your broadcast source. Place in-play bets at your own risk, understanding this potential delay.

Non-Runners and Cancellations

If an event is not completed within three days of the scheduled date, most bets are voided (except for already-determined markets). If a participant withdraws, forfeits, or is disqualified after starting, they are deemed a loser provided at least one other participant completed the event. If no participants complete the event, bets are typically voided.

Dead Heat Rule

If multiple participants tie when only one winner was expected, the dead heat rule applies. Your stake is divided by the number of winners, and you receive proportional winnings. For example, if two participants tie when one was expected to win, your stake and winnings are divided by two.

Cricket-Specific Rules

Test matches must have at least one ball bowled for bets to stand. If a match is shortened by weather, bets are settled on the official Duckworth Lewis result. If a match is abandoned for reasons other than weather (pitch vandalism, strikes, crowd violence), FairPlay reserves the right to void all non-determined bets.

Limited overs matches settled as “No Result” will have bets voided unless a minimum number of overs have been played (as specified in the market). If a new toss occurs on a reserve day, all bets placed after 30 minutes before the original scheduled start are voided.

Soccer-Specific Rules

Material Events in soccer (goals, penalties, red cards) are important. If FairPlay fails to suspend markets when these events occur, we reserve the right to void unfairly matched bets. If a goal is later cancelled by VAR (Video Assistant Referee), all bets between the goal and cancellation are voided.

Permanent Closure

Upon permanent closure, your account funds will be held for 90 days. After this period, unclaimed funds may be forfeited or donated to responsible gaming charities.

Self-Closure

You can close your account anytime by requesting account closure in your settings or contacting support. Once closed, your account cannot be reopened without verification. Your remaining balance will be withdrawn to your registered payment method within 5-7 business days.

Platform Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, FairPlay does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or emergency repairs. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.
